NICE programme

The Network for Intercultural Competence to facilitate Entrepreneurship (NICE) offers the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and intercultural competence as part of a virtual team of students from around Europe and South Africa.

On the NICE programme you will:

  • work in a diverse virtual team with students from around Europe and beyond
  • complete interactive online modules focused on intercultural competence and entrepreneurship
  • develop an innovative business idea in a team to solve a global challenge that you have chosen together
  • attend a week-long summer school to continue building your skills and refining your business ideas.

The programme runs from March to June with an optional summer school in July. There are no fees to participate in NICE. Once you have finished the programme, you will receive a certificate of completion.

Applications for this year's programme are now open and will close on Tuesday, 3 February 2026 at 12pm (noon).
