The University of La Rochelle, founded in 1993, is a young and dynamic university. Enjoying a lovely maritime location between the harbour and the city of La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast, the university enrolls around 8500 students, with 12% international students. The percentage of international students and researchers continues to grow, evidence of the university's policy of openness.
