KU Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) is a Catholic research university, founded in 1425 with campuses in Leuven and nine other Flemish cities, including Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges. KU Leuven's main campus is situated in Leuven, approximately 30 kilometres from Brussels.
