In its five hundred years of history since its foundation as the Colegio de Santa María de Jesús at the beginning of the sixteenth century, the University of Seville has gone through many different stages. Today it serves nearly 70,000 students and is the largest research university in Andalusia. The city of Seville is a large hub for tourism and culture, known for its historic buildings like the Alcázar and its sunny weather.

Students on joint honours programmes with Spanish should note that this partner is not suitable for joint honours Spanish and Politics students due to a lack of course availability in Politics. Students on other joint honours programmes should ensure sufficient courses are available in their non-Spanish degree subject.

 


Teaching is in Spanish. Students will be expected undertake teaching entirely in Spanish at this institution so must meet minimum language requirements.
