Key projects

1Europe

From 2019 to 2022, the 1Europe project was funded among the first European University pilots selected by the European Commission in June 2019. This pilot project established a Europe-wide living lab for testing and scaling Joint Innovative Formats (JIFs) for education and mobility. Co-funded with an Erasmus+ grant of €5 million for three years, the 1Europe project was central to the alliance’s ambition to create a future-looking European virtual campus, turning the European Higher Education Area into reality.

Una.Resin

This 3-year project kicked off in February 2021, instigating and growing pilot initiatives to build a common Una Europa eco-system of research and innovation. Led by the University of Edinburgh, the project was selected for €2 million of funding under the EU's Horizon 2020 Programme and will end early in 2024.

Una.Futura

Launching in December 2022, Una Europa’s ambitious four-year project Una. Futura will see the co-development of a long-term strategy for academic collaboration with the creation of hubs for interdisciplinary challenge-based research and education at the centre. It will continue its focus on high-quality international, multilingual, multidisciplinary teaching and learning outputs to ensure that our students will be truly European graduates, equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to play an important role in society and tackle future global challenges.
