What is the Una Europa Student Network? 

Each Una Europa university organises its own Local Task Force (LTF) to facilitate and promote student engagement with Una Europa initiatives at local level, Edinburgh's is the Una Europa Student Network. These students shape the role that the University of Edinburgh’s student body can play as half a million students come together to build a University of the Future.  

Responsibilities  
  • Be part of a thinktank for European Higher Education, providing Edinburgh’s perspectives to University senior leaders.
  • Develop international student-led events and workshops
  • Co-create new cross-cultural initiatives with peers from other Una Europa member universities
  • Gain professional development skills, working alongside staff and students across the alliance 
Roles 

Leadership Roles – advance the Una Europa Student Network in Edinburgh by shaping the governing body and coordinating teams and projects. 

Current leadership roles for the 2025/26 academic year: 
  • President

  • Treasurer
  • Social Secretary
  • Internal Communications Officer
  • External Communications Officer
  • Marketing Officer
  • Student Representative (unlimited)
    • collaborate with Network members on projects and contribute to Una Europa’s student voice
