This is where we will share information about student support and dedicated events aimed at you, our current Education Beyond Borders scholars. Support from the EBB team From welcome to graduation, the EBB team will support you through your year in Edinburgh. The team will coordinate events, provide information and act as your first point of contact if you need any help. Whether you need advice, resources, or just a friendly chat, feel free to contact us to arrange a meeting in our office. Coffee and cake information sessions Our monthly Coffee & Cake information sessions are a great opportunity to connect with peers and the EBB team and learn something new. Each session will have a different topic, designed to be as relevant and useful to you as possible. Check your Outlook calendar for your invitation to these sessions and to find the time and location. Sign up for a mentor We encourage you to sign up for a mentor who will support your personal, professional, and academic development while in Edinburgh. The winter months in Scotland can be difficult with the cold weather and dark days, but having a mentor to talk to can help you stay focused and discuss any worries. Sign up for a mentor Your student champions Your student champions will represent your 24/25 cohort and bridge communications between the cohort and the Education Beyond Borders team. They will gather feedback on your experience at the University of Edinburgh, highlight the challenges faced by the student cohort and suggest solutions.
