Level of education You must meet the academic entry requirements for your chosen degree programme. We will not accept applications from people educated to PhD level. 3. Diversity & Equity Diversity and equity are central to the success of this programme; therefore, we will work to ensure a balanced programme with a diverse mix of genders and nationalities. 4. You must be a UK resident Applicants must reside in the UK at the time of their application and be prepared to relocate to Edinburgh (or a commutable distance from Edinburgh) if their application is successful. We define a commutable distance as:being within a 60-mile radius of the University of Edinburgh you can travel to the University by car, bus or train to attend your classes. 2. Check which degree courses you can apply for with the scholarship You must apply to the University of Edinburgh for your chosen postgraduate programme. To qualify for the scholarship, you can only apply to courses that are:Postgraduate/ masters level of study1-year in durationTaught in-person, on campus You do not have to apply for admission to your chosen degree course before you apply for the scholarship, but we recommend you do. Ensure you understand how the funding will work The scholarship funds part or full UK home tuition fees, depending on your status and circumstances, plus a stipend which is in line with the UKRI minimum level. To qualify for the scholarship, you must apply for and receive all available UK government student financial support, typically provided as a student loan.The scholarship funding will cover all remaining costs to fund your studies and living costs.
