Training in Edinburgh
Training at the University of Edinburgh is a learning, development and networking opportunity.
You will benefit from a personalised programme, which can include various activities such as job shadowing, attendance of Edinburgh’s International Staff Week, workshop or seminar.
Your visit will enable you to:
- get a new perspective on your role by sharing good practice with counterparts
- improve your understanding of certain aspects of your role
- develop your professional and personal skills
Training in Edinburgh is open to academic, administrative and support staff.
What funding is available?
A travel allowance between 360 and 1,100 euros depending on where your home institution is located.
A subsistence grant of 160 euros per day additional funding is available for staff with special needs, where participation would not be possible without extra financial support.
Who can apply?
Only staff from one of these partner universities can apply for these funded places.

Nominations received by Edinburgh before 30 September 2018 will receive priority whether they are for visits taking place in Semester 1 or 2.
