LERU

The League of European Research Universities (LERU), founded in 2002, is a consortium of research-led European Universities that has had a significant impact on research policy in Europe.

LERU has become a valued advisor to the European Commission on various research topics (FP7, Horizon 2020, ERA, etc.) and acts as the voice of European research-intensive universities on a wide range of topics related to EU research policy.

LERU regularly publishes papers and reports which make high-level policy statements, provide analyses and make recommendations for policymakers, universities, researchers and other stakeholders.
