Students from Una’s eight European universities will come together to collaborate and actively shape the idea of a European university of the future, while having the chance to win an exciting Una Europa prize.
On 24 February 2021, Una Europa will host the very first Student Congress, bringing together students from the eight European universities involved in the initiative; The University of Edinburgh, Freie Universität Berlin, Alma mater Studiorum Università di Bologna, Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie, KU Leuven, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Helsingin Yliopisto.
The half-day event will include multiple interactive sessions, including a World Café where students can voice their opinion on important topics that will affect future Una students, such as the upcoming joint degree programmes and affordability abroad.
The aim of the Congress is to encourage students to help build the Una Europa student community and actively collaborate in Una Europa’s goal to build a University of the future with a truly European Campus that spans across our eight universities with joint study programmes, plenty of opportunities for student mobility, and much more.
By attending, students will learn more about Una Europa and its offerings and they can network and exchange ideas with international students from across Europe. Students will also be able to compete in the University of the Future video competition for the chance to win the highly coveted and exciting Una Europa Prize!
We encourage Edinburgh staff to share this opportunity with students. Participating in this first Student Congress and getting involved in the Una Europa student community is a great way for student to make important connections and boost their CV’s.
