Opportunities to work with the University of Edinburgh
Each year we offer over 100 ways to work with us.
Edinburgh Global is the home of a variety of opportunities for students to have international experiences and take part in projects. Whether you want to apply for funding through one of our networks, or you want to go abroad on one of our many exchange or funded programmes, this is your opportunity to get involved.
Erasmus funding is available to PhD students for supervised research periods in an EU or EEA country (except Switzerland) under the Erasmus+ Traineeship scheme.
"More than 85% of Erasmus students study or train abroad to enhance their employability abroad. Young people who study or train abroad are half as likely to face long-term unemployment. 5 years after graduation the unemployment rate of Erasmus students is 23% lower.
Graduates who have international experience are highly employable because they have demonstrated that they have drive, resilience and inter cultural sensitivities, as well as language skills."
Act as a student ambassador for the University of Edinburgh, engaging with students at your home and host institutions to promote the University and Go Abroad, while gaining valuable skills and experience to add to your CV.
